Metal

You can use a vertical baler for compacting metal waste like aluminum soda and food cans. Or try a drum press for empty oil barrels.
TESTIMONIAL
The cost of the drum press can actually be financed in due course with the money received from compressed oil barrels.

I'd like to find out how I can handle metal waste more efficiently.

Alu cans

In general you find aluminium waste in the shape of alu cans coming from soda and beer cans.

Empty alu cans can be well compacted in balers with a relatively high press force. It is important that the material is well compacted already from the bottom of the baler, therefore our X-series balers with a long cylinder stroke is very suitable for this purpose.

We recommend that you put a layer of cardboard at the bottom and on top of the bale to keep it stable. Sometimes you might also benefit from wrapping the finished bale with plastic film.

Food cans

Used food cans and containers are generated in huge numbers, not only in restaurants but also in public places like hospitals, schools, care homes and the like.

Empty cans and containers can be difficult to compact. You will therefore need a strong machine that can handle this heavy material. The baler you choose must able to press deep into the material in order to make a stable bale that will stick together.

We recommend that you make a layer of cardboard at the bottom and on top of the bale to keep it stable. Sometimes you might also benefit from wrapping the finished bale with plastic film.
